  My usual Barber was closed for two weeks so decided to give this one a go for the first time. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, unfortunately I am really unhappy with the end result. Wanted a simple short, back and sides. Hairdresser asked lots of questions during the cut, but did not recommend going any shorter on top (wish I had insisted!!). Normally I do not have a parting and my hair typically looks "spikey" after a cut without using any product. This time they left it way, way too long on top so that it lies flat with a parting to the side (not what I asked for) - exactly like Jim Carey from dumb and dumber. It does not suit me at all (I thought in the shop it may have been because it was wet) and is the worst looking haircut I've had in six years in Australia :( My wife is currently trying to cut it shorter on top to fix it up. Normally I just ask for a "short-back-and-sides" and it looks fine. Other people clearly have had a great experience here from the reviews, but I'll definitely never be going back. I gave an extra star since the staff were so nice (else it would be 1 from me).
